DU Rescue Our Wetlands

North Dakota Rescue Our Wetlands Project Dedication

On Saturday, September 14th, North Dakota Ducks Unlimited held a dedication ceremony at Long Lake National Wildlife Refuge, near Moffit, ND,  to recognize a project done at the refuge, as part of DU's Rescue Our Wetlands Campaign.  Gathered there were DU employees and members of the community.  Keith and Brenda from the Natural Resources Trust office were among those gathered.

DU kicked off the Rescue Our Wetlands campaign in 2012, aiming to raise $2 billion dollars to help conserve wetlands and other wildlife habitats in North America.  The campaign concluded in 2018, raising a total of $2.34 billion.  The Natural Resources Trust was a supporter in the Rescue Our Wetlands campaign.

See the Ducks Unlimited article on the project done at Long Lake NWR here.

The project also received recognition the KX News.
